DESCRIPTION:Jazz Fest All-Day Clinic & Evening Concert\n\nUMN Morris Jazz and Commercial Music program\, its alumni\, and friends welcome regional middle school and high school students to campus for Jazz Fest 2024.\n\nMiddle school and high school students\, along with UMN Morris musicians\, will take part in an all-day clinic\, and the public will be treated to an evening concert headlined by our amazing guest artists/clinicians.\nJazz bands and ensembles are invited to participate.\n\nGuest artists Remy Le Boeuf (saxophone)\, Dean Sorenson (trombone)\, James Suggs (trumpet)\, Alejandro Arenas (bass)\, and Mark Feinman (drums) will participate in clinics throughout the day\, and headline the evening concert.\n\nUMN Morris Jazz Studies Director Adolfo Mendonça and Assistant Professor of Music Yulene Velasquez will join the guest artists for the evening concert.\n\nThe UMN Morris jazz ensembles and commercial music will be celebrating 100 years of Henry Mancini by playing some of his iconic compositions featured in movies such as\, The Pink Panther\, Breakfast at Tiffany’s\, The Blues Brothers\, and more.\n\nGet your tickets HERE\n\nAdults: $12\nSeniors 65+: $10\nStudents 18 & Under: $8
