This event\, organized by RUSC Kinship\, is not just about running; it’s about making a positive impact on the lives of local youth through mentoring relationships. \nThe 5k for Kinship and Magical Mentoring Mile welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out\, there’s a race option for you. For those ready to take on the 5k challenge\, lace up your sneakers and get ready to jog through the scenic Green River Park. If a shorter distance is more your speed\, opt for the Magical Mentoring Mile. \nSupporting Our Communities’ Youth\nOne of the highlights of this event is that it supports the important mission of RUSC Kinship. This organization is dedicated to empowering young people through meaningful mentoring relationships. By participating in the 5k for Kinship\, you’ll be contributing to their efforts in making a positive difference in the lives of local children. \nHow to Register for the 5K for Kinship\nOnline pre-registration prior to Friday\, September 8 guarantees a race souvenir\, so be sure to sign up early to secure yours! Additionally\, all participants aged 5 and under will receive their own special bag\, ensuring that even the little ones can feel involved in the event. \nRegistration will open at 7:00 am on the day of the event\, and runners can grab a hard copy of the registration form and waiver if needed. The 5k race will kick off at 8:00 am\, followed by the Magical Mentoring Mile around 8:15 am.
