More Than a Summer Event

As a nonprofit organization, RUSC Kinship relies on community support, donations, grants and fundraisers like the Garden Gala to keep those programs growing. The best part? Supporting the cause is incredibly easy. Just show up, have fun and enjoy the evening.

Featured Activity

Water Wars Returns

Let's be honest. This might be the main event.

Back by popular demand, Water Wars kicks off at 6:15 p.m. and pits kids against local law enforcement officers in an all-out splash battle. It's part friendly competition, part community-building and entirely entertaining to watch. Whether you're participating or spectating, expect plenty of laughs and a few soaked participants.

Why People Keep Coming Back

Events like the Garden Gala are a reminder of what makes small-town summers special.

It's neighbors catching up over dinner. It's kids running around with painted faces. It's grandparents cheering during Water Wars. It's a root beer float enjoyed on a lawn chair while the sun starts to dip lower in the sky.

Some people come for the pork chops. Some come for the raffle. Some come because they know the impact RUSC Kinship has on local youth. Most come for all three.
