The PRCA Metal Arts Festival is a day of art, food, brews, live music and fun!
The Prairie Renaissance Cultural Alliance will be hosting this free family-friendly event on September 9 at the East Side Park in Morris, MN. The festival will showcase incredible artistry found right here in Stevens County! See one-of-a-kind metal sculptures, garden and yard artworks, and metalware, created by talented local artists and artisans pushing the boundaries of what is possible with this fascinating medium.
You'll also have the opportunity to peruse and purchase unique, locally crafted works of art at various artist booths throughout the event.
In addition to the wide array of metal artworks, visitors will be able to enjoy live music by the band Island Time, whose contagious tropical beats played on the steel drums are sure to get you dancing.
Live Art Auction | 2 pm
The art auction is an opportunity to take a bit of the festival home with you while supporting local artists and artisans, who bring so much creativity and inspiration to our community. Not only will you take home a unique piece you'll treasure for life, but you'll be giving back to the community as well.
Silent Auction | 11 am-3:30 pm
Held under the big tent from, this auction is a fantastic opportunity to snag some beautiful and unique artwork. With art in every medium on offer, including paintings, prints, jewelry, textile art, weaving, pottery, and books, there's something for every art lover.
New! Art Demos + Art-Making Activities | Throughout the Day
We're excited to announce that this year's event will feature several new and engaging activities for attendees to enjoy. Art demonstrations will highlight weaving with Diane Trew; watercolor painting with Della Conroy; and pastel drawing with Faythe Mills. In addition, you'll also have the opportunity to create your own unique piece of art during several art-making activities for kids and adults, including jelly prints where you'll create a frame-worthy nature print.
Food & Drink
Of course, no festival is complete without delicious food and drinks. Old No. 1 will be providing food and brews during the event as you bask in the day's atmosphere surrounded by incredible works of art.

The PRCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting our communities to the arts and creating a haven for artists to showcase their work. This also includes the operation of Prairie Arts & Gifts, a local gallery that is open to the public for viewing and purchasing artwork.
All festival proceeds go toward funding the PRCA's mission.
